An electric bike is the honest way to see this island: fast enough to cover the distances between villages, slow enough to stop wherever you feel like it. The motor helps on the sandy climbs and against the wind, which here blows almost every day.

You pick the bike up at our base in Rabil, next to the airport, and bring it back when your rental ends. We show you the routes that work: the coast road towards the lighthouse, the track to the Viana desert, the villages of the interior.
