The southern tip of Boa Vista, where the road runs out: low dunes, a pink salt flat, a palm grove and a white beach with nobody on it. We pitch camp in the afternoon under the palms, walk out to the ruins of the old fishing village as the sun drops, and have dinner around the fire with Cape Verdean food cooked on the spot. Then the sky arrives, and out here not one light disturbs it. You wake to breakfast, the ocean a few steps away and seabirds on the islet offshore.

A night on one of the longest beaches in Cape Verde: kilometres of pale sand, the ocean in front of you, not a building in sight. We arrive in the afternoon, pitch camp against the dunes, and there is all the time you want for a swim and for a walk as long as you like before the sun goes into the water. Dinner on the fire, stories around the flames, and then a night with the sound of the waves instead of the road. Breakfast in the morning, sea two steps away. It is the simplest of the three: nothing to organise, you sleep on the beach.

The stargazing evening in the desert, and then you do not go back to the hotel. We start from the Viana dunes at sunset with the telescopes and the sky guides, have dinner at the restaurant (Cape Verdean buffet, table laid, nothing to cook) and instead of the transfer back we go and sleep in the sand. The tents are already up and the fire is lit; above you is the same sky you have just learned to read, this time for the whole night. You wake to the dune changing colour and breakfast arriving with the sunrise.

Once at the observation point, you will be welcomed with a Cape Verdean buffet dinner, with Cape Verde specialities and 1 drink included in the price. After dinner and after an introductory briefing on what will be observed that evening, the guide will accompany you through the desert dunes, to show you the objects recognizable with the naked eye.

Depending on the moon phase, the time and the period of the year, planets, stars and objects of deep space will be observed with the support of a telescope, laser and a tablet, which will be made available to learn how to use the applications that allow to recognize the celestial bodies, so that you can repeat the experience at home, with your own device.

Wind blankets, hot drinks and local spirits are available on site. The excursion is very suitable for children, from 6 years old. The guides speak ENG-ITA-FRA-DEU-SPA-POR.

Snorkeling tours are only possible at high tide, because at low tide, the bay becomes very shallow and the coral heads almost protrude from the surface of the sea. We will provide all the necessary equipment (wetsuit, shoes, life jacket, mask and snorkel), but we do not allow the use of fins in order not to damage the corals.
The trip to Gatas takes about 50 minutes from Sal Rei, and allows you to enjoy some beautiful landscapes that characterize the North of the Island. Normally the duration in water is 45-60 minutes, which are sufficient to observe a good quantity of fish and corals, but which do not exceed a normal fatigue threshold.

On the way back, there is a stop in a typical bar of a small village in the North to have a drink and have a snack.

The tour starts with a walk on the dunes of Praia de Chaves that dive into the ocean. From here the track of land that, flanking the coast with a wonderful panorama, leads to Praia de Varandinha, destination for extreme kiters and birdwatchers. A couple of km away is the oldest village of Boavista, Povoaçao Velha, and some still intact houses built with hand-made earthen bricks and thatched roofs bear witness to this.

We continue towards Santa Monica, considered the most beautiful beach of the archipelago, 11 km of white desert sand. Here you can have lunch, sunbathe and swim in a lovely bar / restaurant or simply relax in the hammock. It is a tour dedicated to the most beautiful beaches on the island.
