Buggy Tour South - 4 hours

The long version of the southern route, for those who want time to stop. Pick-up at your hotel, then our base in Rabil: briefing, test drive on the closed circuit and a final check with the guide.

South on a mix of cobblestone and dirt tracks as far as Povoação Velha, the oldest village on this side of the island. We stop for a drink and photographs.

Then down to Santa Mónica beach: eighteen kilometres of sand, reached by a path that winds between acacia trees and dunes. We stop by the beach club, long enough to take it in. On the way back the oasis of Fonte Vicente and its baobab, green in the middle of the rock desert, before returning to Rabil.
