Start of vaccination in Cape Verde

Vaccinations in Cape Verde will start across the country on 03/19/2021, as provided for in the national vaccination plan, to immunize the population of Cape Verde by the end of this year. The first six people have already been vaccinated on the 18th, all women working in the health field, given the Pfizer vaccine, according to Prime Minister José Ulisses Correia e Silva.

“We vaccinated the first six people in Cape Verde. A great moment that must be marked with great confidence. Vaccines save lives, and the fact that we carried out the first vaccination through the participation of health professionals, nurses, doctors, assistants, and all women, by the way, shows that we are starting well”.
