QUAD FISHING

The techniques of Spinning, Surf Casting and Rock Fishing in Boa Vista can be practiced all year round. The most profitable hot spots are mainly in the south of the island, but also in the north near Sal Rei, where you can make large catches that will test your muscles in breathtaking fights.

The fishing excursions will be carried out aboard very practical quads that will allow you to reach places that are otherwise unreachable. The species that can be undermined are: Serra, Xareu, Trevally, Mormore, White Bream, Mullet Parrots, Golden Mouth Croaker, Barbi, Crossbow and “much” more …

The service includes equipment and bait. You can also use your own equipment and bring your own drinks. The excursion is also suitable for children, from 7 years old and for all levels of fishing knowledge.

POSSIBLE DEPARTURES: the excursion starts at 2.00 pm. You can select a preferred day, but it can vary according to marine weather conditions. In this case, the excursion will be moved to another day or cancelled with a refund.

RETURN: expected after about 5.5 hours.

TRANSPORT: Further details will be provided after booking. It is possible to arrange a taxi to your accommodation for a small extra cost.

EXCURSION PRICE: € 60 double motorcycle (max 2 people) + € 120 per person, up to a maximum of 6 people. There are no additional costs for accompanying persons who do not fish.

BOTTOM FISHING

The bottom fishing trips can be made with typical Cape Verdean wooden goiters or with Mountauk 170. It is the classic bottom fishing at a maximum distance of about 3 miles from the coast, inside the bay of Sal-Rei, on a depth of 15-20 meters.

The techniques that can be practiced in Boavista range from the classic bottom fishing with bait, to Light Jigging up to Kabura and Inchiku. The prey that can be undermined are multicolored and very varied, such as parrot fish, moray eels, mullet, white bream, croaker, greenhouse, jackfish, brown grouper and red grouper and much more!

It is a very simple type of fishing, suitable for everyone, even for children from 7 years old. Included in the fishing trip: equipment, bait and bottle of water.

POSSIBLE DEPARTURES: starting from Sal-Rei, morning 8.00 / 12.00 or afternoon 14.00 / 18.00. You can select a preferred day, but it can vary according to marine weather conditions. In this case, the excursion will be moved or cancelled with a refund.

RETURN: expected after about 5h (half day).
