Cycling in Cape Verde is represented by the Cape Verdian Cycling Federation (FCC), created on 25 November 2017, while on the islands it is represented by associations. It is also a sport widely practiced in all the islands of Cape Verde, with competitions held annually in different locations and islands, where cyclists from all over the archipelago and foreigners can participate.

On the island of Boavista, it is easy to take part in a cycling race. If you don’t have a bike, don’t worry, there are several places where you can rent quality bikes or even buy one if you wish. For registration in the races or for more information, you can contact the Regional Cycling Association of Boavista (see contact) or even the Boavista City Hall.
