Horseback riding

The thrill of a horseback ride on the beach or in the desert is something indescribable. As an experience, it is a small adventure, but a great joy to feel the feeling with the animal, walking quietly near the sea or in the middle of the Boavista dunes. Small horses are very peaceful and also suitable for children, but for more experienced people there is the possibility of asking for a horse to do a little gallop.

– There are few horses on the island, book in advance if you want to make sure you can choose your favourite day.
– Although during the tours there is the possibility to buy something, it is advisable to bring some water.
– The sun is very strong, even if it is not too hot. Bring sunscreen, comfortable shoes (or flip flops) and sunglasses.
– The horses are trained and tame, follow the instructions of the guide and it will be an unforgettable experience.
